Dark and intense cherry color.
Extroverted, with aromas of ripe blackberry, plum, cocoa and lavender.
In the mouth it stands out for being balanced, with medium acidity, silky tannins and a long finish with balsamic and mineral notes.
Villa de Corullón is a high-end red wine that has defined the renaissance of the D.O. Bierzo. It is a "Villa Wine" (equivalent to a Village of Burgundy) that combines the Mencía grape from about 200 small plots distributed throughout the municipality of Corullón.
It comes from old vines (between 40 and 100 years old) located on very steep slopes, with altitudes ranging between 500 and 1,000 meters.
