Raventos i Blanc Winery

In 1986, Josep Maria Raventós i Blanc founded the current winery with his son Manuel. The main goal was to distance themselves from mass production to elevate sparkling wine and position it among the best in the world.

In 2012, under the direction of Pepe Raventós (the current winemaker in charge), the winery made the historic decision to leave the DO Cava designation. They created the exclusive geographical indication Conca del Riu Anoia to enforce much stricter quality standards.

The 90-hectare estate stands out for its calcareous soils filled with Miocene marine fossils. These components bring a distinctive minerality and saline tension to its wines.
