The Singleton of Dufftown 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky that embodies the most approachable and gentle essence of Speyside. Distilled at the historic Dufftown Distillery, founded in 1896, this whisky has been aged for twelve years primarily in European and American oak casks that previously held sherry and bourbon. This maturation process gives it a profile characterized by smoothness, sweetness, and a pronounced fruity character, appealing to both newcomers and more experienced palates that value finesse over intensity.
The Singleton 12 also stands out for its understated and elegant image, true to the brand's philosophy of offering balanced and easy-to-enjoy whiskies. It is part of a range designed to showcase different ages of maturation, all with the same core idea: to create single malts with a well-rounded and approachable style, intended for everyday enjoyment rather than special occasions.
