Description
Llanos del Almendro 2018 is an oenological gem from the Ribera del Duero DO, produced by Bodegas Dominio de Atauta. Sourced from a small 1.39-hectare plot in the Atauta Valley, this wine reflects the essence of a unique terroir. The vines, planted in 1941, grow in sandy soils with surface pebbles, which promotes slow ripening and a greater concentration of aromas and flavors.
Made with 100% Tinto Fino grapes, the winemaking process includes fermentation in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts and aging for 18 months in second-use French oak barrels, adding complexity and elegance to the wine.
