Nose
The nose is dominated by sweet oak, vanilla, bright fruit and wheat.
Palate
Sweet with a balance of oak, vanilla and fruit essences. Smooth and creamy with a pleasant touch of spice and a clean finish.
Description
Neither bitter nor strong, it is made with soft red winter wheat instead of the usual rye, making for a bourbon with a unique flavor.
To ensure consistency, we rotate each barrel by hand and age our bourbon based on flavor, not time.
Every bottle of Maker's is still hand-dipped in our iconic red wax at our distillery in Loretto, Ky., just the way Bill, Sr. would have wanted.
