OLD MAN FROM CALDAS 15 Years
Description
This rum is distinguished by three fundamental pillars that the Caldas Liquor Industry calls its "secrets":
Raw Material: It is made from the distillation of the first pressing of virgin sugar cane honey in the region.
Altitude Water: The water used comes from its own springs located in a forest reserve near the snow-capped mountains, at altitudes between 2,200 and 5,000 meters above the level of the sea.
Mountain Aging: Matures for 15 years in Colombian white oak barrels. (a native species), which have a medium-high toast that provides unique tannic and astringent notes, different from American or French oak.
